Traffic is survival of the fittest
Biking and walking is more popular than driving – sidewalks are large
Tea is served at meals – we had to have hot water
Ends meal with fruit - watermelon, honeydew
A lot more gardens (landscape design)
Umbrella bags at every door - ready for rain
Late Dinner – 10pm
Bargaining – street vendors
Buildings prep for future – holes through center for future flying transportation
Colored lighting of city at night – freeway, bridge, buildings, etc
Shrines inside homes - forms of worship
Women shield from sun, don't want to tan while working outside
Modesty – naked kids at zoo, man closing shop in underwear
Loud crowd/audience noise throughout
Keeps talking through narrations and music
Dong reminders
Great ushers – strongly try to enforce photo and video use
Clean streets … no litter
Squatty potty w/ no toilet paper or soap

Stagehands have astonishing learning curves. It's not unusual for stage crews to have trucks full of unknown scenery arrive at a theatre on Monday, which we need to assemble and understand to open a show we've never seen before... on Tuesday night.
Most people, if confronted with such a task, would flatly say it was impossible.
Stagehands find ways to make it possible. We learn quickly, we draw upon years of experience, skills and training, and (all too often) we drink lots of coffee and work all night.
I've had one longstanding handicap in my career as a stagehand. I don't drink coffee.

Japanese public restrooms have the infamous toilets in the floor. My mom would never use them, no matter how badly she needed to go.
You should see Houston traffic, but almost no one walks.
