Party
Well, I'd say the party last night was a success. We had a lot more people come and stay then we'd expected, but it was great! Amazingly, all of us apartment gals acted like ourselves and made sure the party was a hit. I'm just surprised the food lasted. We honestly had very little left over, but no complaints there. We started at seven and it lasted til midnight when all the men had to be kicked out. Of course, the night didn't have to end there as us gals spent some more time together before we all crashed on the couch during a movie. Thankfully, today is the day of rest after such a night and we were wise enough to clean the apartment right afterwards so there is no mess to worry about. Hopefully, we can plan another one soon - of course not too soon. Parties really does wear a person out - but as I like to say, it is all worth it in the end. Thanks to all the people who stopped by and helped make last night a success. Luvs to ya all!

Stagehands have astonishing learning curves. It's not unusual for stage crews to have trucks full of unknown scenery arrive at a theatre on Monday, which we need to assemble and understand to open a show we've never seen before... on Tuesday night.
Most people, if confronted with such a task, would flatly say it was impossible.
Stagehands find ways to make it possible. We learn quickly, we draw upon years of experience, skills and training, and (all too often) we drink lots of coffee and work all night.
I've had one longstanding handicap in my career as a stagehand. I don't drink coffee.
